Our first session...

...with these two lovebirds! Bervin and Rachana reached out to us to capture wedding portraits that captured each of their backgrounds: one Western/Christian style shoot to honor Bervin's Christian religion, and one Indian style shoot to honor Rachana's Hindu religion and the couple's shared Gujarati culture. We decided to schedule the Western session first, and what better place in the Twin Cities than the Cathedral of Saint Paul! The striking architecture was breathtaking, and the delicate spring flowers adorning the Cathedral grounds were the perfect juxtaposition. We loved the various vignettes that the Cathedral provided - from soft and intimate in the back, to the imposing scale of the building's front side.

Bervin and Rachana were excited to get spring flowers in their photos, so we made our way to a picturesque sidewalk only a few blocks away that was covered in pink petals from the treetops above down to the sidewalk below. It was truly a special space, made even more magical when a soft spring shower rolled through and we were able to add an umbrella. We couldn't be happier with how this session turned out, and we are thrilled to share it with you here on the blog!
