Our Philosophy

At Yellow Glasses Photography, we provide a full photography experience that aligns with our high standards. Our goal is to capture your love story in the most joyful, timeless, and complete way possible, and we work with all of our couples to ensure they get the absolute most out of their photography experience with us. From day one, we walk with you side-by-side and provide years of experience to provide insights for engagement outfit planning, location scouting, posing, timeline planning, and more.

Included with All Collections

We've spent countless hours pouring our experience, tips, and suggestions into an extensive magazine that we send to all of our wedding clients. It includes information on your engagement session, wedding timeline, and other important details.

Our Process

1. Contact Us


Fingers crossed your date is open! If so, we'll start with a Zoom call to get to know each other, hear about your story, discuss the big day, and see if we're the right fit for each other. If we are, yay! The next step is to send you the paperwork to make it official.

2. Pics and Paperwork


After you sign your contract and pay your retainer, we'll send out your Welcome Kit to help you with planning your engagement session and wedding timeline! We'll keep in touch periodically so we're all on the same page.

3. The Big Day


At this point, we got you. We know exactly what to do, and you can sit back and relax knowing your big day is taken care of. We can't wait to celebrate with you!!

4. Photos & Prints


Enjoy being married and wait for your photos to arrive. Don't worry, you won't have to wait long! We give you a sneak peek shortly after the big day, followed by a blog post and finally your full collection! Time to go frame shopping!

If you read about Yellow Glasses photography on their website, they describe their phi- losophy as “capturing moments full of real joy”, and this could not have held truer. My fiancé and I are naturally a bit goofier together and gravitate to such photos. They fully encouraged our goofiness to show in our photos. We also wanted to take a few photos that were a bit more serious (something that comes less naturally), and Allison helped us pull it off! She shared a variety of pose ideas with us, giving us guidance on where to look and other small details that make a big difference for the end result. Anytime that we struggled she demonstrated for us with Vikram. With one pose Vikram captured a variety of angles and perspectives that I didn’t even realize he was taking in the moment. Together they are both an efficient and very sweet team! When you receive your photos the detail, time and care are very apparent. From the fun and comfortable photoshoot to the beautiful, emotion filled photos you receive, we highly recommend Yellow Glasses Photography!

FAQ

Do you travel?

YES! We are more than happy to travel to capture your engagement and/or wedding - please let us know about your location(s) when you inquire!

Do you deliver RAW photos?

We pride ourselves on our beautiful, timeless storytelling, which includes hand-selecting and editing only the best images that go into the collections we've become known for. Delivering anything less would be compromising on our standards, and for that reason we don't deliver RAW photos.

Do you offer videography services?

Unfortunately not. Photography and videography are both beautiful art forms for capturing memories, but they each require a very different skill set. We have dedicated ourselves to mastering storytelling through photography, and we know that videographers have put in just as much work honing their craft as well.
