Liz and Obaid are the best.

When they reached out to us for wedding coverage, we instantly bonded over the intercultural nature of each of our relationships, as well as our love of the Beatles! They are so fun and goofy, just like us, which made their engagement session in St. Paul such a blast!

We chose Rice Park as a location since there is so much beautiful architecture within steps of each other. We began in front of the George Latimer Central Library, then moved to the gorgeous brick road in front of the St. Paul Hotel. We shot midday on a Sunday when the roads were very empty, so we took advantage and got some mid-street poses. We absolutely love how everything turned out!

Liz and Obaid originally told us that they’re not the most natural in front of the camera, but as soon as we started clicking that was clearly not the case. Not only did we get striking portraits and sweet intimate moments, we also were able to capture some goofy glances between these two, which we adore! We included a few below – and don’t miss their iconic Abbey Road reenactment!

We are thrilled with how this collection came out, and it makes us all the more excited to capture Liz and Obaid’s wedding in a few short months! In the meantime, we’ll be busy drooling over this engagement session! Take a peek for yourself below.
